Web Pages Timeout 120 seconds
Weblistners in ISA 2004, by default, create a 120 second timeout for web connections that "appear" inactive. This setting can be to low for server-side intensive processing of a web request and time out on you. Here is where to change it.
- In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click Firewall Policy:
- For ISA Server 2004 Enterprise Edition, expand Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2004, expand Arrays, expand Array_Name, and then click Firewall Policy.
- For ISA Server 2004 Standard Edition, expand Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2004, expand Server_Name, and then click Firewall Policy.
- On the Toolbox tab, click Network Objects.
- Expand Web Listeners and select the applicable Web listener.
- On the toolbar beneath Network Objects, click Edit.
- On the Preferences tab, select Advanced.
- In Advanced Settings, select one of the following:
- Unlimited. To allow an unlimited number of clients to connect to the server at any one time.
- Maximum per server. To limit the maximum number of clients that can connect to the server at any one time.
Type the maximum number of connections.
- In Advanced Settings in Connection timeout, type the number of seconds before the server disconnects an inactive user
