Outlook autocomplete invalid

Outlook 2002 /03 caching wrong mailbox

So,,,,,,,if a mailbox has changed and I DON"T use the global address list old data gets used and delivery fails.

Noticed this when I slowed down……in autocomplete….for veal,,,,,,I get two options…..1 is cached and the other one is not. Meaning that cache doesn’t match Exchange server. Same true for Virus Notifications, but NOT the help desk.

I deleted my NK2 file and tested by sending a test email to virus notifications from global list and then again from autocomplete and all works well.

Here is a doc on it if you’d like to keep.

http://www.outlookpower.com/issues/issue200506/00001584001.html

The article discusses a tool to edit your NK2 file, but not worth the money.

Here is a manual way to do so along with MS article link on deleting entirely.

Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting

the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to

migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of

the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:
