End Program - Sample at XP shutdown
In XP on a machine running an Intel pro wireless card you may have an issue that causes your machine to block software installs and/or tosses up the infamous Can't End Program pop-up mentioning a program named SAMPLE.
Go into services and set the Windows Wireless Zero Configuration service to disabled.
Go to system32 folder and rename the ZCfgSvc file by adding ".old" on the end.
Restart computer.
That should fix your issue. This is tied to some sort of conflict between the Intel ProSet system and that zero config program of XP.
