Green Light?
Remote user calls up to say she can't use her computer.
When asked why, she said the screen was black.
When asked if there was a power light illuminated on the computer front panel she stated NO.
When asked if her computer is plugged into a UPS (battery backup) she said yes (after I described it to her).
When asked if the UPS had a power light on it she stated NO.
When I explained that we needed to get a table lamp, calculator, or the like, plugged into her power jack to test for power she very innoccently stated:
"Well, our power went out in the building about 45 minutes ago and hasn't came back on yet. Could that be the problem?
Need I say more?
